About the videographer

By nature, I'm an engineer – methodical and meticulous, the kind of person who likes solving a good problem. It might not sound like the obvious background for someone who spends his weekends chasing raw, unscripted emotion through a viewfinder. But that's exactly why it works.

Fifteen years behind the camera. Five weddings a year. One goal.

My name is Josef Runsten and I've been filming weddings since 2011. Over the years I've learned that the best wedding films aren't about equipment or effects – they're about presence, trust, and the craft of never standing in the way of the moment.

Creating something that can move people to tears is remarkable, and hard to put into words. People I've never met welcome me into the most important day of their lives, and I get to see it all from the front row. In return, I give them a memory for life.

I married the love of my life in May 2018 – the happiest day of my own life, and yes, of course we had both a photographer and a videographer there. Today I live in Gothenburg with my wife and our two children. Having stood at the altar myself changes how you film other people's weddings: I know exactly which moments are worth everything.
